The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Patriots reached some 84 spots for Malachi Lawrence, and value like that does not grow back.

On value alone, Trigg makes the weekend a net positive. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
