The Lions fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B. There is conviction, and then there is this. The Lions took Sam Hartman a full 34 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Lions indulged a want in Taylor III while a need in tight end stayed open. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Cowing.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
