The Rams did not so much draft Myles Cole as overpay for him, 56 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Smith. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

In the end it comes back to Jordan Morgan, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
