More right than wrong for the Rams, and a B to prove it. Nobody had Jaden Shirden this high, and it is not close. The Rams reached 72 spots to get him at Round 7, Pick 14. No fireworks, but a solid B.
The Barton value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
