The Chiefs got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Chiefs did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Stowers. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
