A solid, sensible weekend for the Steelers: B-.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Steelers would have aced it. Carson Beck at the Round 2 slot is 34 spots clear of where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with interior defensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
