Draft Grade — Rams
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A sensible, unshowy class lands the Rams a B-.

The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Miles Kitselman, Round 7, Pick 34, roughly 29 picks past where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Tiernan pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick13 Rnd1 Jermod McCoy
In the 13th pick they get a potential shutdown corner. Need was not the driver here.
Pick29 Rnd1 Caleb Tiernan
In the Round 1 slot they get a cornerstone up front, though the board says they badly overpaid. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick61 Rnd2 Kamari Ramsey
By-the-book stuff, Kamari Ramsey at the 61st overall pick squarely in line with his ranking. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick93 Rnd3 Connor Lew
Connor Lew at pick 93 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick167 Rnd5 Ted Hurst
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Ted Hurst at slot 167. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick205 Rnd6 Taylen Green
Taylen Green in the Round 6 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick208 Rnd6 Kaelon Black
They took Kaelon Black at par in pick No. 208, which is nothing to complain about. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick232 Rnd7 Keyshaun Elliott
Keyshaun Elliott in No. 232 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick250 Rnd7 Miles Kitselman
Miles Kitselman at Round 7, Pick 34 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. The roster fit checks out.
Pick256 Rnd7 Antonio Kite
Steal is underselling it; Antonio Kite at the 256th pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
