You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Eagles did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The Durant pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.
