The rest of the league had time to spare on Jalen Milroe; the Steelers did not wait, grabbing him 28 spots ahead at No. 66.

For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain. Williams at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
