Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall B
ValueB+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Starks should have been long gone. The Eagles pounced, and earned a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Malaki Starks tumbling to the Eagles in the 64th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

The Ingram-Dawkins reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Tyler Warren
In the 32nd overall pick they get a moveable chess piece at tight end, outstanding value to boot. A real need, handled.
Pick64 Rnd2 Malaki Starks
Malaki Starks in No. 64 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick96 Rnd3 Zy Alexander
Zy Alexander at pick 96 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick134 Rnd4 Kobe King
Kobe King in the 134th pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick161 Rnd5 Ty Robinson
By-the-book stuff, Ty Robinson at the Round 5 slot squarely in line with his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick164 Rnd5 Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins at pick No. 164 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick165 Rnd5 Dont'e Thornton Jr.
Dont'e Thornton Jr. in Round 5, Pick 27 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick168 Rnd5 Tommi Hill
They let Tommi Hill come to them and pounced at slot 168. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
