If confidence were a draft strategy, the Commanders would have aced it. Dominic Zvada at the 222nd pick is 67 spots clear of where he belonged.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Johnson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Trust the process, because this time the process plainly worked.
