Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Andrew Mukuba got past him. The 49ers do not have to explain a thing at the 148th pick.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Every board in the league had West lower, and that gap is the story. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
