The Packers jumped the board for Steele and paid for it: F. The Packers did not so much draft Carson Steele as overpay for him, 87 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. There is no dressing it up: a F.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Rosengarten at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left edge rusher open, and the grade is the bill.
