The tape said wait; the Steelers did not. Joe Milton III went at pick No. 178, a good 22 picks before the board was ready.

The Frazier pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
