The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Malachi Corley, the No. 78 name on the board, sitting there at pick 123 like a gift left on the doorstep.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Taylor III pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
