Nobody else had Shemar Turner anywhere near the 112th overall pick. The Cowboys did, by 50 spots, and that gap is the whole story. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Anderson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The Turner pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at cornerback and tight end.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
