Call it larceny. Quinshon Judkins sat on the board until the 97th overall pick, and the Steelers did not need to be asked twice. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Morrison left real value on the table behind him.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
