The Bills did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Billy Bowman Jr. fell into pick No. 169. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The Hairston pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher and quarterback. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
