Larceny in slot 112 lands the Cowboys a B, Gordon II and all.

The Cowboys did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Ollie Gordon II fell into the 112th overall pick. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Reaching for Sanders left real value on the table behind him. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
