The Cowboys clearly saw something nobody else did in Warren Brinson, taking him 42 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

However the rest shakes out, James at that price is a win they earned. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
