A sensible, unshowy class lands the Broncos a B-. There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Broncos started one anyway for David Oke, 30 picks ahead of schedule. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
That Royer pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
