There is reaching, and then there is Quintayvious Hutchins at the Round 5 slot. The Cowboys jumped the board by 47 and dared it to prove them wrong.

The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Washington Jr..

The Cowboys indulged a want in Mesidor while a need in offensive lineman, quarterback and other spots stayed open. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
