Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Cowboys.

The board owed the Cowboys one, and it paid up: Jordyn Tyson, the No. 14 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 45 like a gift left on the doorstep. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They are betting Payton proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
