Larceny in the Round 7 slot lands the Panthers a B, Brooks and all.

The Panthers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Tahj Brooks, the No. 124 name on the board, in slot 227. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They will need Borregales to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
