Draft Grade — Titans
Overall
B
ValueB-

FutureA
The Titans won the night they stopped McMillan from sliding. Grade: B. You could see the war room lean forward. Jalen McMillan at the 106th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Lindberg reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
Pick Analysis
Pick7
Rnd1
Olumuyiwa Fashanu
Olumuyiwa Fashanu in the 7th pick is fair value, right on his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick106
Rnd4
Jalen McMillan
The board fumbled Jalen McMillan all the way to Round 4, Pick 6, and they scooped it up. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick144
Rnd5
Austin Booker
Austin Booker in pick 144 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick184
Rnd6
Andru Phillips
A slide stopped in No. 184, with Andru Phillips worth more than the price. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick228
Rnd7
Chad Lindberg
A big swing on Chad Lindberg at the Round 7 slot, well ahead of any board in the building. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
