The Chiefs got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

Nobody else had Caleb Douglas anywhere near the 176th pick. The Chiefs did, by 103 spots, and that gap is the whole story. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Lawson.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
