The rest of the league had time to spare on DeMonte Capehart; the Chiefs did not wait, grabbing him 48 spots ahead at No. 111.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The Muhammad pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Muhammad steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
