Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Jaguars spent slot 211 on DeMonte Capehart, a name the board had a full 64 spots lower. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

Landing Wilson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
