TB46 DRAFTING FOR THEBroncos
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall

TradesB-
FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Broncos. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Broncos never addressed linebacker, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
Reaching for Moss left real value on the table behind him. Sadiq at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick Analysis
Pick30
Rnd1
Kenyon Sadiq
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Kenyon Sadiq in No. 30. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick62
Rnd2
Antonio Williams
Antonio Williams in pick No. 62 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick94
Rnd3
Darrell Jackson Jr.
A quiet steal in pick 94: Darrell Jackson Jr. for less than the market said. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick108
Rnd4
Jack Endries
They read the board right and Jack Endries was the payoff at slot 108. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick130
Rnd4
CJ Daniels
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on CJ Daniels. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick168
Rnd5
Le'Veon Moss
They paid up for Le'Veon Moss at Round 5, Pick 30 when waiting would have done the job. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick246
Rnd7
Micah Morris
By-the-book stuff, Micah Morris at the 246th pick squarely in line with his ranking. It fills a real need, too.
Pick251
Rnd7
Alex Harkey
No drama and no debate, Alex Harkey went about where he belonged in the Round 7 slot. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick255
Rnd7
Kyron Drones
They took Kyron Drones at par in Round 7, Pick 39, which is nothing to complain about. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
