FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Bills, and a B to prove it. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bills did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to linebacker, which was the need that mattered most. No fireworks, but a solid B.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Grant. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
Nothing gained and nothing lost at the table.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick30
Rnd1
Nick Emmanwori
In Round 1, Pick 30 they get a centerfielder for the defense, outstanding value to boot. A real need, handled.
Pick39
Rnd2
Kenneth Grant
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Kenneth Grant at pick 39 is the proof. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick62
Rnd2
Jack Bech
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jack Bech. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
