Draft Grade — Rams
Overall C+
ValueC- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A mixed bag for the Rams, and a C+ to match.

The war room fell hard for Sai'vion Jones, and it showed at Round 3, Pick 37: 42 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C+.

The Mullings value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.

Pick Analysis
Pick26 Rnd1 Jonah Savaiinaea
In slot 26 they get a long-term starter on the line, though the board says they badly overpaid. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick90 Rnd3 Jeffrey Bassa
A real head-scratcher, Jeffrey Bassa in No. 90 is miles ahead of his ranking. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick101 Rnd3 Sai'vion Jones
Sai'vion Jones at pick 101 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick127 Rnd4 Kaimon Rucker
They reached into another round for Kaimon Rucker, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick190 Rnd6 Kalel Mullings
Kalel Mullings in the Round 6 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick195 Rnd6 Antwane Wells Jr.
Antwane Wells Jr. at Round 6, Pick 19 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick201 Rnd6 Fadil Diggs
Fadil Diggs in the 201st overall pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick202 Rnd6 Upton Stout
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Upton Stout in pick 202. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
