The Commanders did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Commanders reached some 23 spots for Barion Brown, and value like that does not grow back. No fireworks, but a solid B.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That Hill Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
