You can draft well and still miss the point. The Broncos did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to linebacker, which was the need that mattered most. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
