The Dolphins bled value on every deal, hence the D-. You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Dolphins did exactly that with Jackson Hawes in the 151st pick. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Thornton Jr.. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
