Call it larceny. Matthew Golden sat on the board until the 38th pick, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had TeSlaa lower, and that gap is the story. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
