Somebody in pick No. 144 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Patriots sat still while Tez Johnson, the No. 100 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
