Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Dillon Gabriel got past him. The Patriots do not have to explain a thing at pick 220. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Kris Abrams-Draine gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
