Call it larceny. Dillon Gabriel sat on the board until pick No. 222, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. They executed a plan and it shows in the A.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Adding Zack Moss by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
