Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Tyler Shough, the No. 153 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 222.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Michael Pittman Jr. gives the group a proven body among the projects. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
