The Patriots cashed the board's mistake on Sampson: A-.

The Patriots spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Dylan Sampson, the No. 65 name on the board, in the Round 4 slot. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Jackson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

In the end it comes back to Josh Simmons, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
