Grand theft in pick No. 145: the Patriots steal Neal and grade out a B.

When a board-topper like Devin Neal slides to slot 145, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
