You build a draft on nights like this. Jay Higgins had no business being available in the 222nd overall pick, and the Patriots did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nothing gained and nothing lost at the table.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
