Thirty-one other rooms let Ryan Fitzgerald slide, and the Patriots were the ones holding the card at pick 238. Highway robbery. Little to argue with here, and the A says so.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Spending an early pick on linebacker with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The Tyler Guyton deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
