The Jaguars worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+.

The Jaguars went off the board in a big way for DeMonte Capehart, 160 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
