The Jarrett Kingston selection is the head-turner. The Cardinals reached 52 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Getting Dixon where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

The veteran additions, T.J. Watt chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
