The Cardinals reached for Crum and never recovered. Grade: F. Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Frank Crum at the 249th pick is 71 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. There is no dressing it up: a F.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board. The Watson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
