When the story of this class is written, it opens with Collin Oliver at the Round 7 slot, a reach of 74 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

However the rest shakes out, Smith at that price is a win they earned. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
