Draft Grade — Packers
Overall
B

FutureB-
The Packers let Ali fall and pounced. Final grade: B. You could see the war room lean forward. Rasheen Ali at the 251st overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
The cost of the Logue reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Cooper DeJean
In pick 26 they get a ballhawk on the outside, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick41
Rnd2
Terrion Arnold
Terrion Arnold at the Round 2 slot is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick57
Rnd2
Graham Barton
Graham Barton in the 57th pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick88
Rnd3
Roman Wilson
Roman Wilson slipping to slot 88 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick89
Rnd3
Marshawn Kneeland
A reach for Marshawn Kneeland in No. 89; a little patience would have been rewarded. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick91
Rnd3
Tykee Smith
Tykee Smith at Round 3, Pick 28 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick126
Rnd4
Audric Estime
Steal is underselling it; Audric Estime at pick No. 126 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick168
Rnd5
Javon Foster
They robbed the room for Javon Foster here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick203
Rnd6
Curtis Jacobs
Curtis Jacobs in pick 203 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick216
Rnd6
Jordan Magee
Jordan Magee at the 216th pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick243
Rnd7
Zion Logue
Value said wait; Zion Logue in Round 7, Pick 23 says they were not listening. The roster fit checks out.
Pick251
Rnd7
Rasheen Ali
They will replay Rasheen Ali at slot 251 for years; that is how good the value is. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
