The rest of the league will want that one back. Cam Skattebo tumbling to the 49ers in the Round 7 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Every board in the league had Jackson lower, and that gap is the story. It is not that Mukuba is a bad player; it is that the 49ers had louder needs to answer first. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
