The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Fitzgerald: B.

Call it larceny. Ryan Fitzgerald sat on the board until the 233rd overall pick, and the Bears did not need to be asked twice. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
